The mission of a Digital Advisor at Solid is to enable our customers business to perform at their best by leveraging technology.
To achieve this, you will provide strategic guidance to clients and draw on the full suite of Solid’s services. You are responsible for communicating the Solid story to clients empowering them to meet their ongoing technology requirements and digital transformation needs.
You will be required to support our clients in navigating the rapidly changing technology landscape, integrate new digital services which underpin organisational improvement. Enabling our clients to operate dynamically and efficiently from any device, anywhere, at any time.
What will I be doing?
Keep our clients educated and engaged in the ever-changing technology solutions we support.
Showing our clients how much we care by taking the time to examine the value we bring to the relationship. Driving our customers to stay satisfied, excited and loyal
Understand the clients technology needs and work with the technical team to build an IT roadmap. Ensuring best practices and good technology is in place.
Consistently communicate security risks, while educating our clients on the benefits of gradual and proactive planned implementation of new solutions. By using easy to understand reports, and visually engaging graphs.
Continuously ensuring that our client’s technology needs are met and most importantly ensuring they are getting value from services rendered.
Formulate reports that illustrate value of services rendered
Retention, growth and profitability of our SLA clients
Ensuring a smooth transition of service changes
Working with Operations to ensure efficient delivery IT projects and SLA’s
Responsibility for maintaining an accurate opportunity pipeline by cross-selling and up-selling full suite of Solid products & services.
Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively
Be a contributor to the Account Management processes and policies
Remaining current with key industry advancements and important news, and able to adapt to the fast rate of change in the technology space
What skills do I need?
Personal human to human experience.
A passion for technology and how it can empower ambitious organisations to succeed
Demonstrable experience in an Account Management or Business Development position within the technology sector.
A solutions sales methodology
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
A team player with the proven ability to get the best out of colleagues and ability to motivate
The ability to develop relationships with both operational and business decision maker contacts
A clear understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate these into IT solutions
Commercial skills including negotiation, development of business case and demonstrate ROI of IT investments.
Natural problem-solving skills
Confidence in front of clients including strategy meetings, service review meetings, project meetings
An ability to embrace change in a dynamic company
Bonus skills & attributes
Experience working for a Managed IT services company
Strong knowledge of Cloud Solution Provider model
