What’s the Opportunity?
We’re looking for a Support Engineer to join our team. Solid supports businesses ranging from bootstrapped start-ups to large enterprise corporations. Our Support Engineers partner with our customers to tackle the challenging technical issues they face in innovative ways.
What will I be doing?
- Have a set schedule for onsite recurring visits to customers and obviously, we will ensure you have the best tools available to do the job efficiently.
- Take ownership of the customer’s IT environment through the form of site improvement projects.
- Directly be responsible for enabling our customer’s business IT to perform at its best.
What skills do I need?
- Previous experience with problem solving in a troubleshooting environment with Microsoft Server, Desktop and MAC Operating Systems
- Experience with troubleshooting networks – LAN and wireless networks, firewalls, DHCP, DNS and TCIP
- Experience with Office 365, Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
- Brilliant with a support ticketing system and beating SLA targets
However, great support takes more than tech skills, so we also need you to have:
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in easily understood, concise language [English]
- Ambition, eagerness to learn and improve, passion for tech and the future of the technology industry
- The personality of a Christmas Tree – colorful, pleasant and the ability to make people smile!
Bonus skills & attributes
- Experience with Autotask or Nable
- Microsoft Certified Professional – MCSE, MCITP, MCTS
- Cyberoam CCNSP Certified
