We are looking for a Talent Specialist to join the Solid team. HR is very old school something we not!
The Talent Specialist responsibilities include designing career paths, overseeing all talent functions and crafting strategies that meet our business goals. A focus point will be learning and development with a key focus point on formulating and driving KPI’s within the teams.
Another focus point will be to promote our company as a great place to work (which will be easy because it is!) You’ll do this by creating engaging content and building relationships with potential candidates.
Ultimately, you will help us establish a strong employer brand to attract and retain top talent.

Talent Acquisition – Find talent with Solid’s DNA
- Crafting talent acquisition strategies to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs
- Enrich our careers page and social media accounts with multimedia, posts and employee testimonials
- Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
- Shape the profile of our ideal candidate to ensure our recruiting strategies address the right audience
Talent Development – Set the team up for success
- Refining and continuously improving the onboarding experience of new talent
- Work with leads to refine and improve KPI’s
- Formulate and drive training and development programs
- Plan and manage regular employee performance evaluations
- Formulate career development plans which focuses on up skilling and qualifications
- Nurture our culture of growth and learning
- Develop talent policies and culture code for our company
- Craft job descriptions that describe our benefits and company culture
- Organizing and overseeing individual and team training programs
- Build succession plans
- Re-onboard team members that require a refresher of company culture
- Create organizational charts and define each position’s responsibilities
Talent Wellness – Bring our culture to life
- Promote inclusion in the workplace and reinforce our position as an equal opportunity employer
- Identify and promote the top reasons why employees stay with our company to attract potential candidates
- Develop content that illustrates our life at work (for example, blog posts, videos and infographics)
- Analyze the effectiveness of our talent procedures and tools
- Update our employee handbook and company rituals
- Develop employee retention programs and team-building activities
- Coach employees and act as their consultant regarding learning and development activities
What skills do I need?
- Proven work experience as an internal recruiter, recruiter or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of talent sourcing techniques
- Experience in strategic talent planning
- In-depth knowledge of all HR functions
- Hands-on experience with HR software
- Good understanding of labor legislation
- Excellent leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and persuasion abilities (particularly when making cold calls and sending recruiting emails)
- Time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously
- Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting
- Experience using various interview formats (e.g. phone, structured, group)
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
